Book Blurb
On her 30th birthday, Zoe Greene was supposed to be married to her high-school sweetheart, pregnant with their first baby, and practicing law in Chicago. Instead, she’s planning an abortion and filing for divorce. Zoe wants to understand why her plans failed—to move on, have sex, and date while there’s still time. As she navigates dysfunctional penises, a paucity of grammatical online dating profiles, and her paralyzing fear of aging alone, she grapples with the pressure women feel to put others first. Her family, friends, incomparable therapist, and diary of never-to-be-sent letters to her first loves, the rock band, U2, help Zoe learn to let go—of society’s constructs of female happiness, and of her own.

FAVORITE QUOTE FROM FIRST CHAPTER:
“Zoe. You need new dating panties.”
BOOK COVER:
I give this a two thumbs up for its colorful design!
FIRST CHAPTER REVIEW:
Whoa. Let me cut to the chase - Zoe is obviously having an abortion - well, she's had the abortion rather and is waking up from it. So many things are going through her mind. But all she wants to do is get out of there and back to her normalcy. The writing was impeccable; this first chapter easy to understand and I have to admit it did grab me from the get go.
I would like to find out how the author approaches the steamy subject of life after abortion. Would I keep reading? I'm a pro-lifer so you know what I should say, but if we shy away from the fact that there are going to be abortions whether we like it or not, maybe it would be helpful to read on and get immersed in Zoe's story. Zoe could be you, could be me, could be the girl next door, she could be your cousin, your aunt, she could be the thousands of girls out there who find themselves making a very hard choice and this is the story of how she deals with life afterwards. Absolutely I'd keep reading!
