FAVORITE QUOTE FROM FIRST CHAPTER:

It all started with the wind.

BOOK COVER:

What a beautiful foreboding cover! The woman on the cover must be Lady Jane. She is standing in front of the Rathborne Castle. The wolf glares at you with his teeth menacingly protruding from his mouth as if to say don't even think about coming near me. Beautiful cover!

FIRST CHAPTER REVIEW:

Okay, wowzers. In this first chapter, we find Lady Jane Linwood walking through the woods hearing voices in her head. These voices are telling her things like "Danger approaches," little things like that to sort of warn her ahead of time and these voices ended up being right on target. "A stranger enters your world" it warns her. And a stranger winds up at the gate of her castle all bloodied up. She's hesitant because she doesn't trust anyone anymore since they've branded her a witch, but as she says, she can't leave him out there bleeding. She orders the butler to take him to the dungeon as she doesn't want him roaming the castle until she finds out what his intent is. So while all this is going on the voice returns telling Lady Jane the man is important to your future. She starts the process of giving him aid when she gets a vision. She is beside the stranger on a horse when he gets an arrow in the shoulder, then the vision stops. The voice returns saying "Your life and his are intertwined." This bewilders Lady Jane.

Oh my yes. This stranger I feel is going to play a big part in this book. And Lady Jane - I'm curious to see what her voices tell her and if she gets more visions. A great read so far and it's going to be a page turner!

I love being an author. It’s all about where your characters lead you. I start with a general idea. As the story unfolds, I type as fast as I can in hopes I keep up with my characters. They have had me jotting on napkins, making notes while I’m waiting in a line, and waking me up in the middle of the night. The hard part is always the ending. My characters live with me and when I reach the end of the story, it is hard to say goodbye. Sometimes, I let the story sit for a few days to make sure I’m okay with them leaving home to get published. Kind of like when you kids move out. LOL

I enjoy my grandchildren, and the time I share with them. They make me smile with their antics. I like to quilt, crochet, knit and sew. Cooking and baking are occasional itches I scratch. The rest of the time, they are necessary evils. LOL.

My greatest support comes from my husband. He has been my sounding board for all my stories. My daughters are also a great support to me. I couldn’t do it without my family.
